- When you’re done with the message, click Next to go to the settings page.
- Choose if you want to send the message as a source to Google Analytics.
- Under Sharing, decide if you want to share the online view of the message on Facebook or Twitter.
- Send the message immediately or schedule it for later.
- Choose if you want to send it with perfect timing.
- Save the message as a draft or Click Send message/Schedule.
GetResponse Autoresponders:
Autoresponders are messages set to go out automatically after a contact subscribes to your list. You can create several messages to go out in a cycle, one after the other.
Autoresponders help you automate campaigns and manage one-to-one communication with your recipients.
They can be sent in a sequence or at intervals, starting from the day contact signs up to your list, e.g. Day 0 (the day a contact subscribes), then day 3, 7, 14.
So, autoresponders are useful if you want to send an automatic message to contacts who join your list.
When you set up an autoresponder cycle, messages will go out on a specific day of a contact’s subscription period, according to how you set up the cycle.
The Autoresponder feature gives you the ability to create and manage autoresponders. Use it to:
- add a message to the autoresponder cycle. You can use existing newsletters, autoresponders, and drafts. You can also create a new autoresponder message from scratch.
- manage autoresponders in the calendar view and list view
- move messages to different days in the autoresponder cycle
- prevent messages from going out on specific days of the week
- schedule the time autoresponders are to go out, including adjusting the schedule to different time zones
- add contacts to the autoresponder cycle or move them to a different cycle.
- You can also preview, edit, and duplicate your message, check message status and statistics, as well as – view the number of users on a particular day of the cycle.
Autoresponders only react to subscriptions, imports and contacts added manually. Make sure to check the box add to cycle on the day for your subscription method, or when you add contacts to your account, to get them started on the autoresponder cycle. Without this setting, the autoresponders won’t send.
GetResponse Automated Emails:
In GetResponse you can create an automation message using our state-of-the-art message editor that allows you to quickly build beautiful emails. The process is simple and straightforward, which makes it easy to create a message for your workflow in no time.
A marketing automation message is a special type of message used only as an action in marketing automation workflows.
The main difference to other messages you can use in GetResponse is that you don’t set the sending properties.

- Go to Menu>>Automation>>Automation messages (this section will be available once you create your first workflow).
- Click Create automation message BETA.
- Give your automation message and internal name.
- Select from and reply-to email addresses.
- Provide your message subject line.

- After designing your message decide if you want to enable click tracking and send the message as a source for Google Analytics.
- You can save your progress or Save and finish the message.
Perfectly Timed Emails with GetResponse:
With Perfect Timing, we know the “optimal hour of the day” when your subscriber is most likely to open and click your emails.
We will wait from 0 to 23 hours before delivering your email to each subscriber individually to make sure that the delivery occurs exactly during that “perfect timing” slot for every person on your list.
To activate it turn on Perfect timing in the Summary step of creating a newsletter.
Example #1: Sue interacts with her email mostly in the evening. GetResponse has calculated Sue’s Perfect Time window to be between 7 PM and 8 PM. GetResponse predicts that’s when she’s most likely to open emails and click on links. With Perfect Timing off, you may send her an email at 9 AM and Sue will be buried with 10 hours of emails by the time she checks her mailbox at 7 PM. Or you could send her an email at 11 PM when she’s already in zzz mode. With Perfect Timing on, the GetResponse email marketing tool will deliver your email to Sue between 7 PM and 8 PM, dramatically increasing the chance she will open your email, read it and click through. We calculate this based on any previous mailing sent to Sue by any user, not just you. This helps make Perfect Timing even more effective.

Landing pages are one of the list building options you can use in your GetResponse email marketing account.

Getting started
1. Go to Menu>>Landing pages and click the Create landing page button.
2. Select a template.
3. In a popup modal, enter a name and click Use template. This will open the template editor.
Customizing the template
1. To edit text, double-click the text fragment you want to change and add your own text. The editing tools menu becomes available. Use them to change the style, format, and positioning of the text.
2. To edit the signup form, double-click the form to enable the additional editing options:
- Click the form fields to change the text and formatting
- double click the form start adding additional fields: custom fields and Consent fields. Custom fields help you collect contact information. Consent fields allow your contacts to give their consent to your marketing or data processing policies when they sign up.
To add the fields, click the Webform fields button. Then, click the Custom fields tab and select the custom fields you want to use. Click the Consent fields tab to view the Consent fields you’ve created in your account. Then, select the fields you want to add to the form.
3. Use the tools in the side toolbar to further customize the design of your template. You can add more sections, buttons, forms, shapes, videos, social sharing icons, and PayPal buttons.
4. (Optional) Add more page variants to A/B test your page design.
5. Click the cell phone icon to generate a mobile-friendly version of your landing page to make any changes you want.
6. When you’re happy with your design, click the Next step button.

Editing webinar settings
Start by adding a name to your webinar. The name needs to have at least 3 characters and not more than 70. Note that the name is visible to all participants.
The webinar settings visible next are divided into 2 sections: Basic settings and Registration and subscription settings.
Add Details:
Click on Add details in Basic settings to start setting up your event.
- You will be able to see your webinar title in the Webinar URL section. The name of your webinar becomes a part of your webinar URL. You can edit it in the field or copy the link using the Copy button. Your webinar URL needs to be in lowercase letters.
- Choose when the webinar starts (your account settings determine your time zone).
- Set webinar duration.
- Customize the lobby with a message of up to 250 characters. If attendees click the invitation link before the event starts, they wait in an online lobby. This is also a good place to enter your meeting agenda.
- (Optional) If you don’t want to use the default thank-you page, expand the thank-you page list to select one of your landing pages or another page as a thank-you page.
Click Save this step once you’re ready with this section.
Edit Settings:
Then click on Edit settings to expand Registration and subscription settings.
- Choose the target list to which attendees (when registration is disabled) or registrants should be added (when registration is enabled). If there’s an autoresponder linked to the list you selected, you can also add them to a specific day in the autoresponder cycle.
- Select if you want webinar registration to be enabled. With the registration on, people will be added to your list upon registering to your event. After signing up, they automatically get an email with details on how to join the event.
- With registration enabled, you can decide if you want to send reminders about the event to your registrants. When you turn reminders on, from the dropdown you can select when exactly you’d like to send the reminders. You can also select the template for your reminders.
Click Save this step and then Create to finish up creating your webinar.
